Sky-Watcher K100 Mini Virtuoso GTi 100mm (4") F/10 Wifi Go-To Klevtsov-Cassegrain Telescope

The highly portable Sky-Watcher K100 (Mini Virtuoso GTi), has been designed to be controlled wirelessly with your Smartphone or Tablet, using the free SynScan App for iOS or Android. The Mini Virtuoso GTi mounting, with it's built-in WiFi module, creates it's very own Wi-Fi network, so the mount can be used anywhere, without any reliance on other WiFi or mobile networks. After entering your coordinates into the App and following a simple alignment procedure, you are ready to explore the universe using the App's intuitive touchscreen menu.

The Mini Virtuoso GTi and SynScan App provides full computerized GO-TO control, allowing the telescope to be automatically slewed to any one of the objects in the App's extensive database of 10,000+ celestial objects.

The compact K100 Klevtsov-Cassegrain optical system is an interesting catadioptric design that utilizes both primary and secondary mirrors and a sub-aperture correcting lens that effectively folds the telescope's long focal length into a telescope of relatively compact dimensions, ideal for the observation of double-stars, the surface detail of the Moon and bright planets.

Supplied with both a Table Top Mounting and an Extendable Aluminium Tripod for excellent convenience, portability and versatility. Capture celestial images with your smartphone with the supplied Smartphone Camera Adapter!
