The Robtics Photo-Newtons is a series of fast Newtonian telescope systems specially designed for astrophotography and visual wide field observation. The optics are of high quality with 95% reflectivity coatings. The enlarged secondary mirror in order to better illuminate larger chips. The over extended metal tubes make the secondary mirror less likely to fog up while the fast F4 focal ratio is keeping the overall length of the tube still very short.

High Quality Primary Mirror
The Robtics PN6F4 has a parabolic primary mirror made of BK7 glass with 95% reflective quartz coating. With 6 inch aperture and 600mm focal length the PN6F4 gathers 73% more light than a 114mm telescope. The mirror's center mark makes collimation with a laser collimator super easy!
High Quality Primary Mirror Cell with Collimation Screws
Speaking of collimation, the PN6F4 holds collimation very well because of the heavy-duty mirror cell combined with three collimation screws and three extra collimation lock-screws.
High Quality Secondary Mirror
The 70mm secondary mirror is also made of BK7 glass and also has 95% reflective quartz coating.
Sturdy Secondary Mirror Spider
The secondary mirror holder and extra thin (0.5mm) spiders are made from metal and very sturdy making sure that collimation is very stable. Collimation is achieved with allen wrench keys and Robtics advises to upgrade these to Bob's Knobs for easy no-tool collimation.
Dual Speed Focuser
The Monorail focuser outperforms Crayford style focusers and has a load capacity of around 3kg. It runs very smoothly and friction can be adjusted to taste. The focuser comes with a 10:1 reduction providing very fine, ultra precise focusing for crisp images. The 2 inch focuser can hold 2 inch accessories. 1.25 inch accessories can also be used with the included reducing adapter. The focuser and the adapter have an internal compression ring for a very firm grip of your accessories. Extra large knobs with knurling are used to make tightening/loosening even with cold fingers extra easy.

8X50 Finder Scope
The fully adjustable finder scope with integrated cross hairs make finding objects easy. 50mm aperture provides enough light and eight times enough magnification to actually see the object you are looking for instead of guessing the location through a red dot finder.
35mm extension tube
For maximum usability the PN6F4 has an extended 100mm back focus and the included extension tube makes sure you can reach focus with most of your favorite eyepieces or photographic accessories. The 2 inch extension tube with an optical length of 35mm has an internal compression ring for a very firm grip of your accessories.
