perfetto per neq6 pro, funzona benissimo con asi air ed elimina la pulsantiera, cosi che ASIAIR possa pilotare direttamente il telescopio.

Spent about 6 hours watching reviews and getting to know all the different brands and their productlines. Explore scientific seems to be right under Tele Vue. After trying this eyepiece a couple of times outisde in the cold and inside, I must say that I'm absolutely amazed by it's potential. The wide view, the clarity and above all the sturdyness of this piece. It is quite heavy so re-balancing your telescope might be neccessary. In a 10" Dobson this 8.5mm shows you the colorgradations on mars, gives a clear sight of Jupiters 2 bands and makes you feel like you're in the middle of the stars. If you don't have the budget for a €500 Tele Vue eyepiece, this is your absolute best choice. You will not regret it. 10/10 I would buy all my other eyepieces from ES.

Ik was op zoek naar een vervanging van mijn zware montering en 127mm apo. Zelf was uitgezocht en naar Rob en Menno gegaan. Menno gaf mij goede alternatieven. Dus kwam ik uit op de Ioptron GEM28 montering en deze APO. Makkelijk mee te nemen en zo opgezet. Montering past prima op mijn zuil in mijn sterrenwacht. De kijker is fantastische en superscherp . Nu in sept het setje meegenomen naar Zuid Limburg. Met de reducer wat foto's gemaakt met mijn astrocamera. Tot mijn verbazing kreeg ik met een testopname van 1 min Stephan's Quintet erop. Montering en kijker een aanrader, met dank voor het goede advies van Menno ne Rob!!

Het is een goede telescoop voor de beginner door het gemakkelijke gebruik ervan. Hij is inklapbaar, maar dat heeft zowel voor- als nadelen. De handleiding is op sommige onderdelen duidelijk, maar op andere onderdelen minder duidelijk (focusser). Pluspunten +Ruime opening van 150mm geeft veel lichtinval en dus mogelijkheden +een van de goedkoopste modellen met WiFi go to en tracking die er te koop zijn +Ingeklapt past de telescoop in een ruime keukenkast +WiFi go to en tracking werken goed +Door grote field of view en red dot finder zijn objecten gemakkelijk te vinden. Ook voor een beginner. +de 2 bijgeleverde lenzen zijn van goede kwaliteit Minpunten -De uitklapbare constructie en helicon focusser van de de telescoop zijn kwetsbaar en maken telescoop daarom niet geschikt om er zware oculairs aan te hangen. Ook niet voor zwaarwegende barlows, coma correctors, telefoonhouders met smartphone, dlsr camera's etc. Dan jan die wat gaan doorhangen. Ongeveer 200g lijkt wel de max dat je er voor langere tijd aan moet willen hangen. Dat beperkt de mogelijkheden voor de assescoires voor deze telescoop. Dat kan op langere termijn wel een belangrijk nadeel zijn. -De helican focusser voelt niet heel degelijk aan. -De mogelijkheden om de focusser te vervangen door een ander exemplaar lijken beperkt.

Goede kwaliteit van product, nadelen zijn de battery cover en de polar scope illuminator, die beiden van plastic gemaakt zijn en niet een stevige indruk maken. De battery cover zat eerst vast bij mijn SWSAii, werd snel gefixt in de winkel zonder enig probleem. Zeer gemakkelijk om te gebruiken, denk wel aan een stevig statief voor het kopen van deze startracker.

Deze kabel speciaal voor een astrovakantie gekocht. De aanwezige montering had nog een DB9 aansluiting. De asi air werkt prima met de kabel, geen enkel probleem gehad. Aanrader!

I love this EQMOD Cable, because I can use all my "old" software on my Windows Computer without any change. EQMOD is my ACSOM driver for years now. I mainly use APT, SharpCap, and Cartes du Ciel. Thank You for a woderful product at a fair price. Dietrich Kracht

Since many years I own a high-quality 102 mm refractor which I used on a very old mount which had tracking in RA but nothing else. And it was ok to use the refractor visually, but you shouldn't touch anything... I always dreamt of a light-weight mount to step up a bit. An important criterion was that it shouldn't be too big and heavy - I want all my equipment in one Zarges box, 80 x 40 x 40 cm3. I found the perfect mount with the AVX. It is probably stable enough to hold a much larger telescope - with my 102 mm refractor it is rock solid. The handbox is nice and compact, which I prefer to some of the competitors. I even started using the Goto, even though I am almost 60 years old, but it is simple and works well. Note: Do *not* buy the polar scope. At least in NL you can't really look through it, as the adjustment knob for the elevation is in the way (see the picture attached). You don't really need it anyway, as the handbox allows to align the polar axis. Summary: I am happy, and the price is reasonable too.
