Cable for direct connection of a motorized azimuthal goto mount to a PC for PC control. The RJ11 side of the cable is connected to the mount via the hand controller port and thus this cable replaces the hand controller completely. USB connector connects to the PC, laptop or ASIAIR or similar devices.

Cable uses the FTDI-chip and is compatible with Windows 7/8/10, MAC, Android, Linux, CE. Local planetarium/EQMOD or similar software can be used for mount control.

This cable is compatible and tested with the following mounts:

  • Sky-Watcher AZ-GTi
  • Sky-Watcher AZ PRO
  • Sky-Watcher SynScan AZ PRO
  • Sky-Watcher Merlin
  • Sky-Watcher All-View

Works well with Windows and EQMOD

I love this EQMOD Cable, because I can use all my "old" software on my Windows Computer without any change. EQMOD is my ACSOM driver for years now.
I mainly use APT, SharpCap, and Cartes du Ciel.
Thank You for a woderful product at a fair price.
