Takahashi's FC/FS 1.04x Multi-Flattener utilizes a two element design that helps to improve the spherical aberration that is present in doublet refractors.
This flattener is designed as a universal replacement for previous flatteners on the FS and FC series of Takahashi fluorite doublet telescopes. It will only work with the FS and FC telescopes.
Additionally, each telescope model requires a specific CA ring (not included) that will be specified in that telescopes system chart.
