With this adapter a camera can be mounted on the counter weight shaft of your telescope mount! While you are photographing through your main telescope, a second camera is doing wide field astrophotography. That's two birds, one stone! The adapter fits most counter weight shafts very tight, is well constructed and has 1/4" and 3/8" connections.
For most flexibility connect a camera ballhead to the camera clamp.
