Astro-Physics M9404 14" x 1.875" Diameter Counterweight Shaft - Older Style

We still have a few of these 14" Counterweight Shafts (12.75" usable length) available, although they have been replaced with the newer style (M9404-A) on all new 900GTO mounts. These shafts have most of the same specs as the newer style 14" Counterweight Shaft (M9404-A), except that they require the Counterweight Shaft Safety Knob (SCWTKB) and larger Counterweight Safety Washer (M12009) sold separately below. They can NOT be used with the One Piece Safety Stop (M12676) . These shafts are compatible with our 5 lb. (5SCWT), 10 lb. (10SCWT) and 18 lb. (18SCWT) and 24 lb. (24SCWT) counterweights.

This shaft is recommended for: the 1100GTO and all 900 models (HDA, QMD, SMD and GTO) that have been produced. It may also be used with the Mach1GTO. Note: This counterweight shaft should NEVER be used with a 900 series mount that has shaft encoders in place. It may, however, be used with 1200 series mounts that have encoders.
