The height was increased to allow more room for your hand when tightening the rear knob or adjusting the altitude. We also eliminated the sharp corner to prevent the possibility of the cords catching. It looks a bit spiffier as well.
Note: This Tall Polar Fork Assembly Upgrade is now included on all new 900GTO Mounts and does not need to be added to a new 900GTO purchase.
Mounts: All 900 mount models (HDA, QMD, SMD and GTO) that have been produced. Plese note: HDA and QMD mounts require removal of the RA motor/gearbox to change out the polar fork.
