Sky-Watcher StarWand - Pointing Device Laser & Wi-FI

Consists of the StarWand Pointing Device and a unique StarWand Wi-Fi Adaptor which plugs into a Synscan handset. After alignment, the StarWand, using motion sensor technology and a <1Mw laser , can be aimed anywhere in the night sky to command a Synscan AZ, EQ or AZ-EQ mount, with a Synscan handset fitted, to automatically slew to that position. From that approximate point, the user will then have to make slewing adjustments using the handsets controls to finally locate the desired object, which is very useful educationally, as well as rewarding, as the user has to navigate to the final object. Will command more than one mount simultaneously with additional unique StarWand Wi-Fi adaptors. Works with Synscan V3, V4 and V5 handsets (V3/V4 firmware updates may be required). Requires 1 x 18650 rechargeable lithium-ion battery & battery charger (not supplied). Class 2 Laser Product.
