The heavy-duty 8" double mounting plate with a length of 750 mm is specifically designed for the parallel installation of two large telescopes and offers a load capacity of up to 150 kg. It is therefore ideal for main instruments from 20"–24" (e.g., PlaneWave DeltaRho 500) together with an additional telescope. Thanks to its extended length, this plate allows for flexible balancing and provides ample space for additional accessories.

Pre-drilled mounting points enable the attachment of various clamps and adapters (e.g., PAN-Adjuster, base plates in different sizes, or Baader 3" PAN / EQ clamps), ensuring precise alignment of both optical systems. In combination with the Baader 8" PlaneWave clamp (#2451555), the plate can also be conveniently shifted to the left or right to perfect the balance. This makes the 750 mm double mounting plate a robust and versatile foundation for implementing complex parallel installations on large mounts (including 10Micron GM 3000, GM 4000, PlaneWave L-500, or L-600).
