Takahashi Adapter T to wide T-Mount T-Ring all brands (except Canon and Olympus) - TKA00240

These rings convert any classic Takahashi T-ring (M42x0.75 female connection) into a wide T-ring (M54x0.75 male connection) for attachment to the M54 thread of CA-35 photo adapters. The assembly is extremely simple. Just remove the heart of the classic T ring, retained by 3 small side screws, and replace it with this conversion ring.

The conversion ring has an internal M48x0.75 thread intended for mounted 2 inch filters in the the 50.8 mm barrel. However, for some T-rings fixing is impossible or even harmful; please check the system-charts of your instrument for any mounting incompatibilities.

Warning! Two models of the conversion rings are available because the diameter of the heart of Takahashi T-rings is different depending on the camera body brand: 52mm in diameter for the Canon EF T-ring (ref. TAK_TKA00242), 49mm in diameter for those of other brands (ref. TAK_TKA00240).

Assembly example

A classic T-ring can be dismantled into two parts. In the case of a ring intended for Nikon F mount cameras, simply replace the center of the T ring with the TAK_TKA00240 conversion ring to transform a classic Nikon F T-ring (TAK_TKA00220), with female M42x0.75 thread, into a Nikon F wide T-ring (TAK_TKA00230), with M54x0.75 male thread.
