De zeer goede reducer flattener is geoptimaliseerd in de 400 tot 600mm range brandpunt kijkers, maar zelfs tot 700mm is hij ook uitstekend te gebruiken. Optimaal is het gebruik bij bv. een 85mm TeleVue Ed apochromaat F600 mm.
De flattener /reducer heeft een 2 inch insteek maat en past dus in elke 2 inch focuseerinrichting. In de de reducer past elk filter met 48mm maat. Aan de bovenzijde zit een T-draad uitwendig, hierop schroeft u elke T-ring waarop u uw camera vastklikt.
Model TRF-2008 0.8x Reducer/Flattener converts TV-85 to 480mm f/5.6 and TV-76 to 380mm f/5.0 for flat field, fast photography. Fully multi-coated 3-element unit inserts directly into 2" focuser, accepts standard T-rings for 35mm cameras.
