ZWO EAF (Electronic Automatic Focuser) is an updated version of the popular focuser drive, presented in June 2025. The new generation introduces USB-C communication and an improved design made of durable metal, while maintaining compact dimensions and high driving force. ZWO EAF is designed for remote and precise focusing in telescopes - both for astrophotography and visual observations. It works with a wide range of focusers and software, enabling automatic focusing, temperature compensation and manual control.

Technical Note: New ZWO EAF/EAF Pro Release

• Powered by ASIAIR: The USB-C port on ASIAIR does not provide power, only data - please use a USB-B to USB-C cable to ensure proper power supply
• New standard of the coupling sleeve: the diameter has been changed from 5 mm to 4 mm due to the modernization of the motors in the EAFN and EAF Pro drives
• Compatibility: the new version does not fully support the 5mm sleeve - for Takahashi, C8 and C11 telescopes, a 4mm sleeve should be used
• ZWO EAF-BRK-TK, ZWO EAF-C8-C925 and ZWO EAF-C11-C14 mounting kits will include 4 mm and 5 mm diameter sleeves
