- Pointing Accuracy Enhancement (PAE)
- Capability to store star alignment data
- Can accept new GPS mouse attachment

For V2, V3 and V4 owners wanting to upgrade, the V.5 SynScan hand control includes features such as: Firmware-updateability via the internet, Pointing Accuracy Enhancement (PAE), and capability to store star alignment data. Also can accept GPS mouse attachment. Built-in USB socket for firmware updating. (n.b. handset cable not included - available separately)
